April re-launch of The Retrobits Podcast

Hi everyone!

It's been a long one-year hiatus - much longer than I planned. But in April, The Retrobits Podcast will re-launch with new episodes.

Things have been busy here, including co-hosting the Retro Computing Roundtable with David Greelish and Carrington Vanston. That's a fun show, by the way - if you haven't checked it out, definitely take a look on iTunes.

It will be fun to be behind the mic once again for Retrobits. Hope you're all doing well out there!

- Earl

Hi Earl,

Just discovered the podcast and delighted it will be rebooted.

I also was shocked that a search for SGI or Silicon Graphics gave zero results when looking through the shownotes.

SGI is my favourite brand-of-old and I have quite a collection of hardware and quirky stories and tidbits of info.

I bought an Indigo2 this week which is in the mail as-we-speak.

I would love to give you some info that you could use.

cheers,

matt

Thrilled to hear this! Didn't expect to read this news since you've been so busy with the Roundtable! We still need to get together sometime! I would love to see your collection! Oh, and I was just listening to episode 23 of the Roundtable... Did you wind up getting that QX-10? Sounds really interesting...

Greetings Earl,
I'm a computer collecting Bit-Baby and found your pod cast a few days ago. I am really looking forward to listening to more. I have ordered the OmegaRace Cart for my Vic-20 as you made me feel like I am missing out on that game.
Thanks Tim.

Earl, how can we get the Retro Computing Roundtable (which you should have mentioned before...) onto the Zune Marketplace? Retrobits is there already. Thanks.

Earl, it is kind of eerie when I hear the theme music for a new Retrobits and suddenly feel a wave of retro nostalgia. I guess the long layoff made the show retro to the second power. Looking forward to your new projects! See you soon. Morgan
